Understanding biological systems quantitatively is important to be able to characterize them, predict prognosis and assess treatment response. Models of biological systems need not only to be accurate but also need to match clinical insights. The focus of my work is to develop analysis techniques and models which can explain the prognosis of age-related neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s along with their predictive and protective factors.
